Tim Laman embodies the eye of an artist, the expertise of a scientist, and the passion of an explorer to create a unique and original body of work revealing nature as never seen before.
Tim Laman is a contributing photographer for National Geographic magazine, and films for the BBC Natural History Unit and Cornell Lab of Ornithology. He is an Associate of Harvard University’s Museum of Comparative Zoology, a Fellow of the Explorer’s Club, a founding member of the International League of Conservation Photographers, and co-founder of Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Birds-of-Paradise Project. His passion is to explore the Earth’s wilder, remote areas, and create images of wildlife and wild places that can inspire people to care about our planet.
